Fundraising for Additional Capacity
Since our commencement of operations in November 2024, we have grown from 21 children with 3 teachers to 38 neurodiverse children and 10 teachers now and we will be reaching full capacity soon.
The plan is to expand our centre to another floor upstairs where we will have a total of 4,400 sqft of space and will cater to older children aged 8 to 12.
This new space will include specialized rooms for arts, music, cooking, baking, and other skill-building activities, allowing us to better nurture the talents and development of older children. The expansion will enable us to serve more children from underprivileged and low-income families, providing them with vital support and guidance to enhance their quality of life.
Small contribution, big impact
PDK Damansara Damia will be producing a book about a neurodivergent child navigating her day with a good friend filled with learning, friendship, and discovery. Perfect for young readers, this lovingly illustrated book encourages understanding and kindness, showing that with a little help and a lot of love, every day can be an adventure!
100% of the sales proceeds will be channelled for this purpose!
Growing Together, One Small Step at a Time
PDK Damansara Damia is a community-based rehabilitation centre (Pusat Pemulihan Dalam Komuniti) located in Kota Damansara, Selangor. We are dedicated to providing early intervention and structured learning for young children with autism and special needs, especially from underprivileged families.
Inspired by the journey of a child named Danielle Damia, whose story reflects the struggles many parents face in accessing affordable support, our centre was founded to bridge the gap—offering meaningful care, therapy, and education without financial burden.
At PDK Damansara Damia, we:
Support children aged 6 and below (up to 7 in some cases)
Offer structured programs including early therapy, preschool learning, and daily living skills
Operate with the help of professionals, volunteers, and parents
Keep our fees affordable (as low as RM100/month), with household income limits to ensure accessibility
Our mission is simple: to give every child a fair start, regardless of background.
Together with our community of therapists, educators, and families, we are building a safe, nurturing environment where children can grow, learn, and thrive.
